About Me

Life is hard and, at times, it can be scary, lonely, confusing, and stressful. Most of us struggle with emotional distress, loss and grief, shame, and disappointment; many suffer quietly, for the truth is perceived as too painful to utter aloud.

Believing strongly that we as human beings have a remarkable capacity for self-healing and personal growth, I adopt a person-centered approach to my therapeutic work. I believe that through acceptance, many issues may be better resolved as they are brought into the light of awareness. Utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance, Commitment Therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) techniques and tools, I seek to meet my clients with unconditional positive regard and to walk with each of them on their path to healing.

Reaching out is not an easy thing to do; you must have already been through a process of internal conflicts and struggles. Whether it be a need to relieve emotional pain, a desire to find fulfillment and value, or wanting to improve the relationships you care about, I am here to hold a safe, non-judgmental space where you are able to connect authentically to your wants and needs.
