About Me

I have over 10 years of experiences in therapy, supporting individuals whose challenges may not be well understood by others. This includes those with the unspoken trauma and those questioning who they really are and what they want. I am skilled in developing deep work with my clients to find out 'the why(s)'. Your therapy session is a safe space for you to bring out any thoughts & feelings, when you can 'just be you'. I devote to cultivating listening, trust and compassion, such that you can develop your own voice and emotional resilience. You will also be supported, via a tailored growth path, to enhance positive and sustainedly self-skills in self-awareness, personality development, relationships management etc.
I am also a senior psychologist at a NHS specialised mental health service and honorary lecturer teaching intercultural competency at the university of Manchester. I strongly believe that culture is an important element when addressing mental health, as it shapes our beliefs of what’s happening around us and to ourselves.
I am a English, Cantonese and Mandarin speaking psychologist. I have been supporting many Asian, British clients since year 2020 using my therapy experiences and my cultural knowledge to foster clients’ awareness of their challenges and work together on it. Communication, mutual understanding and respect are pillars of my therapy approach.
